Avik Samanta is a Graduate Research assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Iowa, USA. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India followed by Master of Technology (M.Tech) from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Mumbai, India. After his post-graduation he was briefly with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company as MEMS product engineer in Sensing & System Integration in Hsinchu,Taiwan. Subsequently, he joined University of Iowa as a PhD scholar.
